A DEPUTY manager of a care home in Williton headed to London to attend the Great British Care Home Awards finals.
Ross Isbell, deputy manager of Croft House attended the ceremony after being shortlisted for the Frontline Leaders Award.
He was joined by Croft House manager Madeleine Flanagan and operations manager Sue Steeds.
Although Ross wasn’t announced as the overall winner on the night, his colleagues, family and friends said they were so proud of him.
Ms Flanagan said: “Everyone at Croft House is so proud of Ross, representing the company and his local area at a national awards final in London is such an achievement.
“Not everyone can say that they have achieved so much recognition and success at such a young age.
“Ross is an inspiration to staff at Somerset Care and potential staff looking to join the care sector.
“He may not have been announced as the winner at the ceremony but he’s definitely a winner to us.”
