Wooden Spoon donates boat for disadvantaged Taunton youngsters
A BOAT for physically and mentally disadvantaged children has been donated by the Somerset branch of Wooden Spoon.
The charity was founded in 1983 and aims to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people.
Taunton Deane Mayor and Mayoress Dave and Renee Durdan are pictured at the launch of the £31,000 boat on the River Tone on Saturday (May 10).
