TAUNTON Tennis Club served up a treat for budding sports fans when it held a free family fun day.

Visitors of all ages got the chance to 'make a racket' at the tennis club and learn some basic skills to improve their game.

As well as tennis games, there was also a range of sporty activities to keep the kids, and adults, occupied.

Debbie Butland, junior tennis coordinator at Taunton Tennis Club, said: “It was a free session for children and adults to join in and get into tennis.

“The courts were all in use, which is around 20 altogether. It went really well and the children all went home with little bags of prizes.”
