A GROUP of Minehead men took on ‘the toughest event on the planet’... and beat it!
Ray Hall, his brother Brian and a couple of their friends took on the Tough Mudder challenge earlier this year to raise money for the Somerset and Devon Air Ambulance.
They waded through ice pools, fire, electric shocks and a 12-mile run, managing to complete the gruelling challenge in just three hours and 15 minutes.
Ray said: “Unfortunately my brother was in a football accident midway through training and broke his foot so he didn’t manage to take part but we carried on and managed to raise £1,558.51.
“Thank you to everyone for their help, support and donations.”
