STAFF at Beauchamp Gardens assisted living home in Hatch Beauchamp helped resident Pam Chilcott celebrate her 102nd birthday with family members.

Senior care assistant Lynda Brion and care assistant Amy Lee brought Pam a bouquet of flowers, organised by the head office of Care South, which runs the home.

Pam also enjoyed a cake made by one of Beauchamp Gardens’ in-house chefs.

Pam, who celebrated her birthday with children Tim Chilcott and Jenny Shove, has lived at Beauchamp Gardens for ten years, where she enjoys watercolour painting and embroidery.

Pat Britten, home manager at Care South’s Beauchamp House, said: “We were delighted to play a part in Pam’s 102nd birthday.

“She is an incredible woman, who has achieved a great deal in her life.

“I imagine we would all like to be as independent as Pam is when we are 102!

“It was lovely to see her family here and to be on hand to ensure she enjoyed a special day.”
