THERE was plenty of fun to be had for visitors to Halsway Manor on Saturday as their held their annual fete.

As well as music and dancing from the Taunton Deane Morris Men and Crowcombe and Stogumber Schools, there were stalls and walks around the beautiful manor.

Rachel Hill, from Halsway Manor said: “We had a really lovely afternoon - despite the terrible weather forecast!

“Performances by The Big Noise Street Band gave a real carnival atmosphere, and we were lucky enough to have displays from both Taunton Deane and West Somerset Morris Men.

“Young people's band Fiddlin' Folk went down well, as did a great display of country dancing by children from Crowcombe and Stogumber School!

“Best of all, the sun shone so people were able to relax in the gardens and enjoy the stalls, entertainment and refreshments. “We're already looking forward to next year!” ·
