Fire crews called to New Look in Taunton
FIRE crews were called to an incident involving a light fitting at New Look in Taunton this morning (June 14).
Two fire teams, along with an Aerial Ladder Platform from Taunton were sent to a report of smoke coming from a light fitting inside the store in Taunton's Orchard Shopping Centre at around 9am.
On arrival the crew confirmed that there was still smoke coming from the light fitting and that the power had been isolated. Crews removed the affected halogen light and checked the surrounding area using a thermal imaging camera.
