FIRE teams were called to a farm in Minehead this afternoon (June 14) when an agricultural forager set alight.
Fire Control received numerous calls reporting an agricultural forager on fire on a farm at Elscombe Lane, Wootton Courtenay, at 3.50pm.
Two fire crews from Minehead were sent to investigate. On arrival the crews confirmed the forager was well alight and they had a compressed air foam jet in use.
The forager, which was located in an open field, was 90% damaged by fire. The fire was extinguished using four breathing apparatus, the compressed air foam jet, a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
