STAFF at the Yorkshire Building Society joined forces to pedal the distance of the first stage of the Tour de France - without ever having to leave their branch in East Street.
Colleagues took turns to cycle 190kms on a static bike in the branch, to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Yorkshire Building Society is an official supporter of the Tour de France, and the first stage of the race begins in Yorkshire tomorrow.
