Trailer carrying cattle flips on M5 between Taunton and Wellington

The fire service says the cattle were transferred to another truck and no animals were injured.
The motorway has now re-opened.
It looks as though the lanes have re-opened and traffic is returning to normal.

Information from the Highways Agency shows that lanes one and two northbound just past Wellington are currently closed.
Traffic is building up in the area and is slow moving.
MOTORISTS are being warned to face delays on the M5 after a trailer carrying cattle overturned this morning (July 5).
The crash happened northbound between Wellington (J26) and Taunton (J25) shortly before 8am.
Six large cattle were found in the overturned trailer and the motorway will be closed northbound while they are rescued.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Upon arrival, crews found one Land Rover and one over turned trailer with cattle inside the trailer. Police and highways on the scene who are closing one lane on the M5.
"Due to overturned trailer with cattle inside, the special rescue team from Bridgwater fire station was also mobilised to the incident along with the rescue tender from Taunton.
"Crews found six large cattle in overturned trailer and are awaiting arrival of cattle lorry from Bridgwater before release. The M5 northbound will be closed during this procedure."
