FAMILIES turned out in their numbers as a world-famous children's train steamed into Minehead.
Thomas the Tank Engine stationed in a sunny Minehead on Saturday (July 5), much to the delight of the hundreds of West Somerset Railway fans who turned out to see him.
Visitors looked around the carriages and enjoyed various entertainment at the station, including a Punch & Judy puppet show.
Passengers could experience a ride on the steam train, shake hands with the Fat Controller and take part in Thomas-themed activities in the Imagination Station.
