Royal Marine to auction off bike ahead of Rock of Gibraltar challenge
A FORMER Royal Marine planning an energy-sapping sponsored run is boosting his appeal by auctioning off his bike.
People have until Saturday (July 19) to buy a ticket for Pete Erskine's Raleigh Grifter from Imprints, in St James Street, Taunton, the Rose Inn, in Hamilton Road or at Rock on the Green, opposite St Andrew's Church.
The raffle will be drawn at 10pm at the Rock on the Green event on Saturday, with all proceeds going to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.
Pete is also supporting the charity when he joins 349 other people running up the Rock of Gibraltar.
