IT only feels like yesterday that I was writing the report for our Centenary year, and here we are a year on after another successful Dance Festival.
Children from all over the South West performed and demonstrated their talent in front of our adjudicator Jill Baldock and an audience at Kingsmead Community School, Wiveliscombe.
Over the two days soloists, duets, trios and groups from the ages of 6 to 21 performed all different styles of dance, and with their fabulous costumes, the festival was truly a magical place.
A big thank you to the dance section co-opted members for their continuous help and support. And thank you to all the parents for supporting the event and to the teachers for dedicating their time and fantastic chorography.
The 2015 Dance Festival will be held at the Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton on June 12-14.
New classes of Contemporary and National dance will be introduced. If you would to find out more about the festival please contact: Natasha Ballardie via the Festival website at www.tauntonmusicdramafestival.org or follow us on Facebook.
