Date set for Christmas lights switch-on
THE Christmas lights will be officially switched-on in Wellington High Street on Saturday, November 22, the town council has announced.
A collection of performers and traditional carols will be part of the proceedings.
The council has also said it will fly the flag for the Commonwealth from March 9 2015.
