Police in Plymstock are appealing for information after valuable jewellery was stolen from the home of an elderly woman.
The burglary took place at the home on Plymstock Road sometime around 4.45pm on Tuesday 12th August.
Entry was gained via an insecure door and following a "tidy search" an amount of unique jewellery, was stolen from a dressing table in a bedroom at the property.
All of the items of jewellery are of a sentimental value and family heirlooms.
Police are asking for assistance from the public, jewellery stores, pawn and second hand shops to be on the lookout for anyone offering any of these items for sale.
