"Very slow traffic due to earlier overturned vehicle on M5 Northbound between J27 A361 (Tiverton) and J26 A38 (Wellington), congestion to J28 A373 / B3181 (Cullompton). All lanes have been re-opened. "Delays of up 30 mins."

THERE are said to be delays of up to 30 mins on the M5 as a result of the crash.

TWO people sustained minor injuries in the incident, South Western Ambulance Service has confirmed.

A spokesman said: "We were called at around 1.31pm, and police and fire also attended.

"There were two people walking wounded', who were treated at the scene.

"We haven't taken anyone into hospital, so it seems they have received minor injuries.

"The lorry collided with the central reservation."

POLICE have confirmed that an empty flatbed lorry is on its side on the M5 between junctions 27 to Tiverton and 26 to Wellington.

A spokesman said: "We got the call at 1.28pm today (August 15).

"One lane is closed, and arrangements are in place for the lorry, which is on the hard shoulder, to be recovered."

A LORRY is reported to have overturned after a collision with a caravan on the M5 northbound between Tiverton and Wellington.

Traffic has halted, with the hard shoulder and lane one (of three) blocked.

Emergency services are on the scene, and debris from the caravan is stretching for some distance.

Driving upside down is the new upright, think there's even a bit in the revised highway code - 'all cars must drive on 2 wheels'
