TEN hours of music kicks off on Castle Green this Sunday(August 24) for Parrot in the Park, an event celebrating Taunton’s music scene this weekend.
Organised by The Apple & Parrot, and starting at 11am, the event will feature the UK’s number one Oasis and Blur tribute band among a raft of area musicians.
Working closely with Mel Amor, of the Inspiring Social Innovation Society, the new branch of local charity Stand Against Violence, the Apple & Parrot event is limited to just over 1,000 tickets.
The money ISIS receives will help to fund its Live Music Academy and Diverse Events Academy for 14- to 24-year-olds in Taunton, empowering young people through art and music to positively impact their community.

Glam rock band StOp sToP! are playing at 10pm.
