DAVID Shepherd and The Cromwell Arms, are getting together again this Sept to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This will be their second year, and with lots of events planned, it promises to be a fun filled month, ending with a very special Music Quiz, on Sunday.

Once again this is being both, compiled and hosted by Mark Thomas, even though he now resides in Wales.

Other events include a Hog Roast, from Michael Howard Butchers, Car Washing, Prize Raffle, guess the name of the Big Bear, weekly Spirit Raffle and not forgetting Julie's famous Tuck Shop.

Fantastic band 'Blue Horyzon' will be playing on, Friday and Saturday, as well, so The Cromwell Arms, Bovey Tracey, is THE place to be this September.

David said: "My partner, Linda, died of Myloedysplasia, a rare from of cancer, two years ago. The support we received from Macmillan Cancer Support was invaluable and I wanted to give something back to the charity in memory of Linda. Last year we raised just over £1,000 so we are looking to beat that if we can."
