LONG-SERVING face of British comedy Jim Davidson brings his tour, ‘No Further Action’, to Bridgwater in February with tickets already on sale.
Davidson’s tour, which carries the strapline, “laugh you will, cry you might …” was christened “one man’s fight to prove his innocence” by the Daily Express.
In January, 2013, the ‘Marmite man’ of comedy was arrested as part of the Met Police’s Operation Yewtree investigations into alleged sex offences, but after “12 months of hell” for Davidson they decided there was no case to answer.
He has since turned one of the worst years of his life into a comedy goldmine, appearing at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, and he will be at Bridgwater’s Blake Hall for an over-18s only gig on Saturday, February 7.
Tickets cost £23 in advance – call 01278-422959, 07723-377500, visit Blake Hall or Strings ’n’ Things in person, or click on www.seetickets.com
