- Leak has now been isolated, however there had been a large leak in the area
- Residents in the local area are being advised to stay indoors and keep all windows closed
Chris Howe, chief executive at Swallowfield, confirmed that the leak was isolated and staff were allowed into the building at around 8.50am.
He insisted that "everything is back to normal".
TRAIN services between Taunton and Penzance are delayed due to the gas leak.
THE gas leak has caused disruption to nearby bus services, the Buses Of Somerset Twitter account has said there will be no service to Tonedale.
Service 22A will now be diverted to Wellington Rockwell Green.
COUNTY Gazette photographer Aisling Magill is at the scene and says there are at least three fire engines and several police cars in the area.
Workers arriving at the factory are being told to go home.

FOLLOWING an earlier suspension on the trains this morning, the rail stoppage has now been lifted.
Station road has now also reopened having been closed from 5.15am.
