A NUMBER of local business people conducted mock interviews for year 11 students at West Somerset College to help them gain specific skills that employers will look for in young people.
Mrs Tina Beaver, the College’s Career and Guidance Advisor said: “In just a few months, the student in year 11 will be moving on to the next stage of their lives.
“As part of their preparation, we wanted to help them gain the specific skills employers are saying many young people lack.”
The college is very grateful for the great support from local businesses and members of the Rotary offering time to come into college and conduct short interviews with our students.
