Emergency services called to collision at Hillcommon near Taunton
EMERGENCY services were called to a car crash involving one vehicle near Taunton earlier tonight.
Two fire appliances from Wiveliscombe and Wellington, a Rescue Tender from Taunton, police and ambulance crews were sent to an accident on the B3227 at Hillcommon at 8pm.
Upon arrival crews found a female trapped, but not medically, within the vehicle.
They set to work stabilising the car and administering first aid and oxygen therapy to the casualty.
Crews had to remove some embankment to enable the casualty being released from the vehicle using a spinal board.
