A GHOULISH opportunity has come up to spend a night investigating the paranormal at Halsway Manor in Crowcombe.

Following the success of popular TV show Most Haunted, a specialist company is holding its first ever investigation at the manor on June 29 and December 7.

Paranormal Tours will give participants an introductory workshop and training on the equipment used for conducting experiments, including devices to record electronic voice phenomena' and ghostly sounds.

All ghosthunters are invited to bring their own digital cameras and night vision equipment to assist them.

In addition to the scientific equipment, the group will be able to speak to a local historian to gain factual information about the property's past, plus utilise the services of an experienced medium to communicate with any presence they detect.

Limited to 24 participants, places cost £99 per person and include all activities, use of equipment plus supper and refreshments throughout the night.
