TAUNTON Against Poverty has donated £650 to the Mothers’ Union at St Mary Magdalene Church, in Taunton.
The money will be used for Away From It All Holiday scheme to send a family on a free holiday.
TAP’s Julie Kimber said: “We are grateful to the Mothers Union, who, for decades have quietly sent hundreds of families away on a free holiday.
“We are grateful too for all the voluntary work they do to support other individuals in need in various other ways too.
“Taunton Against Poverty are in the process of establishing another project to help the poor in Taunton.”
