A WOMAN has been charged with perverting the course of justice after a doorstep acid attack which left a former Taunton student fighting for his life.
Father-of-one Andreas Christopheros, 29, a former King's College student, suffered what police described as 'life-threatening' facial injuries in the attack at his home in Truro on December 9 last year.
Officers were called to the house following reports that a corrosive substance, believed to be acid, had been thrown in a man's face.
Nicole Phillips, 45, from Hastings in Sussex, has been charged with perverting course of justice.
She is due to appear at Bodmin Magistrates Court on April 30.
David Phillips, 48, also from Hastings, was earlier charged with GBH with intent and is due to stand trial on June 8 at Truro Crown Court.
