While the late spring sunshione has seen Somerset basking in warm temperatures this week, the weekend is set to turn cooler and more unsettled.
The Met Office says that most places will be dry overnight, although it will remain largely cloudy with fog patches possible over the hills. It will be breezy, but frost-free. Minimum Temperature 8 °C.
Saturday will see some warm spells of sunshine, however, showers will also break out, some of which could be heavy. Maximum Temperature 17 °C.
Deputy Chief Meteorologist, Chris Tubbs, said: "After a warm and sunny start to April for most of us, the change to cooler, more unsettled weather will be a real feature of the weather this weekend and also into next week. However, this change is fairly typical of spring weather, with some April showers on the way"
