POLICE with a panda car and van visited the children at Kiddi Caru's Taunton day nursery.
The youngsters looked round the vehicles, pressing the horns and sirens before enjoying a talk about the role of the police.
They even got to dress up in police officers hats and uniform and looked at their equipment.
The visit is part of the learning journeys for the children that help them to discover all about the people who help them and their local community.
Claire Blenkinsop, nursery manager, said: “The children are always very interested in learning about different jobs but they find the idea of being a police officer particularly exciting."
