NYNEHEAD Court residents welcomed children from Nynehead Pre-School this week, who came to read with them as part of National Share-a-Story month.
Share-a-Story month is organised by the Federation of Children’s Book Groups, which aims to promote children’s interest in books and reading.
Local author Jan Copley, a regular visitor at Nynehead Court, joined with residents and staff to act out stories and share reminiscence with the children.
Angela Watkins, Manager of Nynehead Court, said: “Books and reading are a constant pleasure to our residents, and we hope our young visitors enjoyed sharing stories as much as we did.”
