Of the 82,000 registered voters, 10,000 have applied for a postal vote in the poll to elect 56 councillors.

There will be 86 polling stations throughout the Deane, which will open from 7am-10pm.

The verification and count will take place at the Blackbrook Pavilion - with the results expected to be announced at 2pm the following day.
