THE biennial Royal Naval parade of Taunton Sea and Marine Cadets, TS Roebuck, was held at Taunton’s UK Hydrographic Office.
Attending the event were senior naval officers, cadets’ families and Freemasons from St George and Vivary Lodges.
The cadets were inspected by Commander Nigel Morton RN, area officer South West Sea Cadets, who praised their turn out and commitment.
They also demonstrated their agility with a field gun run and their skills in providing first aid
A cheque for £1,100, from a joint ladies’ night, was presented to the cadets by representatives of the lodges by Barry Woodside, a past master of Vivary Lodge.
