TAUNTON town centre was packed last Saturday as crowds flocked to the annual Somerfest Festival. They were joined by acrobats, dancers, giant dragon flies and even human topiary - walking hedges.
The High Street, Goodlands Gardens and Castle Green were taken over by a variety of entertainers including trapeze artists, Butlins Redcoats and a sandy beach specially created by staff from the town’s B&Q store.
Sally Mann, of organisers Fuseperformance, said: “It was amazing to see such a variety of performers and talent in the town centre in one afternoon.”
