IT'S 1874 and two men keep to the side as a horse and carriage passes uder Taunton's Castle Bow.
Look to the left of the picture and you'll notice a poster - it's a bit faded now, but the advert was for Taunton Flower Show.
Now, 141 years on, organisers are gearing up for this year's show in Vivary Park on Friday and Saturday, August 7 and 8.
The old photo was supplied by Anne Leamon – author of The History of Taunton Flower Show, The Oldest, Longest Running Flower Show in the Country.
She's appealing for old photos of the popular show held annually in Vivary Park.
As well as the Castle Bow shot, she recently discovered these two other pictures with links to the show.
This snap shows W. E. & T. Cousins setting up their stand in the floral marquee in 1909.
And here is the company’s shop window display for the flower show in 1900 - note the hanging pineapples.
Anne will be at Taunton Flower Show on August 7 and 8 or can be contacted at 01823-351315 or emaleamon@gmail.com if you have any photographs or memorabilia to show her.
