IT was a full house at a bingo night held at the Admirals Landing in Bridgwater which helped to raise £1,000 for St Margaret's Hospice.

The money raised at the event was matched by the Bridgwater branch of Lloyds Bank,

and will go toward a new perometer machine for the hospice which helps measure water retention in legs and arms for people who suffer from Lymphoedema.

The event organiser Tracey Perks said that the hospice were already over halfway toward their £16,000 target to cover the cost of the new machine.

Mrs Perks said:"My mother suffers from the condition and we have always found St Margaret's Hospice very nice and very helpful and we thought it would be a good cause to raise money for.

"We were delighted as we raised much more than expected, I would like to thank Paula Rawlings and Zhandra Kelsey from Lloyds Bank for their help toward the cause," she said.
