TRAVELLERS who arrived on council land with a small number of caravans have been told they will have to leave.
The group turned up off Enmore Road, Taunton, on Friday afternoon, July 31, and were visited by officers from Taunton Deane Council on yesterday (Monday) and again today.
A Deane spokeswoman said: "The council is committed to ensuring that the travellers move on and are taking the necessary steps and serving the required notices."
