FIRE crews from Taunton were called to a property fire in Taunton last night (August 27).
Two engines were sent to Queensway at 8.29pm.
On arrival, crews found there had been a small fire involving a grill pan handle and the fat within the cooker.
The fire was out when they arrived and there was 50 per cent damage to the plastic handle of the pan.
Crews isolated the electrical cooker and removed it to the open air.
Ventilation was used to clear smoke from the property.
