Police and Crime Commissioner visits Priorswood, in Taunton
AVON and Somerset's Police and Crime Commissioner toured Priorswood, in Taunton, to see for herself some of the community building initiatives in place there.
Sue Mountstevens and Taunton Supt Mike Prior were hosted by the North Taunton One Team, a multi-agency organisation that supports the people in the area.
During the day, Ms Mountstevens visited Priorswood Community Centre, meeting manager Lesley Thomas and North Taunton Partnership chairman Sue Kilbey.
She also met some of the emergency services that work in the area, residents and the Street Pastor volunteers who tour the area on Wednesday evenings to support young people in and around the Youth Drop-in at the community centre.
