The slip roads at Junction 22 on the M5 are subject to closure at night for resurfacing this week.
There are some delays around J23 on the M5 where road works have been taking place. This morning there was some congestion there but the M5 was flowing normally.
Traffic lights at North Petherton are continuing to cause long waits on the A38 in the town – allow extra time for travel or find alternative routes along the back lanes. There’s a public meeting about the problems on Oct 1, in the town’s community centre at 7.45pm.
In Bridgwater there is a road closure at Sandford Hill on the A39 creating delays.
Bridgwater’s Somerville Way is closed due to drainage works at Cranworth way.
Further afield on the M4 there’s two lanes closed and very slow traffic due to accident on M4 Eastbound between J19 M32 (Bristol) and J18 A46 (Bath / Tormarton), congestion to J20 M5 (Almondsbury Interchange). Two (Of three) lanes closed say police.
