PHOTOS: First woman Bishop of Taunton consecrated in St Paul's Cathedral by Archbishop of Canterbury
TAUNTON'S first woman Bishop was consecrated at St Paul's Cathedral on Tuesday, September 29.
The Rt Rev Ruth Worsley was ordained and consecrated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev Justin Welby.
She will be welcomed by hundreds of wellwishers at a service in Wells Cathedral at 10am on Saturday, October 3, when she will license nine new readers.
