JUDGES in the Great British High Street competition will descend next Tuesday on a Taunton street vying for a share of £80,000 prize money.
Bath Place is among three shortlisted in the local centre category of the contest run by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
The historic street was nominated after it turned its fortunes around, finding occupiers for vacant shops and luring shoppers back through a series of initiatives.
