A MAN and a woman have been taken to hospital following a carbon monoxide leak at a house in Curry Mallet this morning, Sunday, November 1.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 1am by police, who had entered the property where the two casualties were found.
Fire crews set to work using breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and a gas monitor.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed that carbon monoxide was found in the property and the man and the woman were taken to Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital.
The incident was left in the hands of the police.
