JAMIE Edwards, a student at The Castle School, Taunton, is in Brazil competing at the Paralympic School Games 2015.
He flew into Rio in the early hours of Saturday and has been training for the races, as well as acclimatising to the heat, humidity and the food.
His hopes are high for success in the 100 metres sprint, for which he holds a national record, while he is also in the 200m and 400m races.
