THE Museum of Somerset, Taunton, is hosting two carol evenings with musicians performing a medley of seasonal and local songs.
On Wednesday 9 December at 7.30 pm the museum welcomes the Voice of the People Community Choir and Halsway Manor Choir are appearing with A West Country Christmas on Wednesday. December 9, at 7.30pm.
Then historical musicians Blast from the Past will present A Brief History of Christmas on Tuesday, December 15, at 7.30pm, a festive romp through 600 years of Christmas music, songs and stories.
Susie Simmons, Visitor Services Manager at the Museum of Somerset, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting these very special occasions at the museum. They will be the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit and we hope many people will join us.”
