QUEEN'S College in Taunton is hosting its Senior School Summer Fair on Sunday June 10 to raise funds to help benefit Queen's pupils' education.

Organised by The Friends of Queen's College, the fair, which will take place on the school's sports fields in Trull, will be open from 2pm-4.30pm.

Head teacher Chris Alcock will take on a new role for the day as the fair's official compere.

The traditional English fair will offer over 30 different stalls and activities including coconut shy, splat the rat, tombola and lucky dip.

You could always turn your hand to the pastime of croquet, have a go at bowling out one of the college's top cricketers or take on the challenge of Welly Boot Throwing.

Refreshments are on offer and the entrance fee is 50p and includes the raffle.
