Car destroyed in arson attack
A CAR was destroyed in a suspected arson attack in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, May 3).
Firefighters were called to tackle the blaze in Churchill Way, Watchet, at 2.43am, when they discovered the vehicle "well alight".
They put out the flames using a foam branch and breathing apparatus.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate and it destroyed the vehicle."
