A FUNDRAISER to buy new playground equipment for Lyngford Park Primary School raised £400.
The fun day was held thanks to Priorswood Co-op and The Wagon Pub in Taunton.
It was organised by the school's PTA.
One of the organisers, Kym Collins, said it was a great day.
She added: "It went really well, we managed to raise £400 which is double the amount we had hoped to raise.
"There was lots to do including face painting, a bouncy castle, stalls, a tombola, a barbecue and a treasure hunt.
"It took a lot of organising but it was worth it."
