The Big Woodland Adventure takes place at Nutcombe Bottom, near Dunster from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday, June 1with family games and activities lasting all day. The event is free, but donations to CareMoor for Exmoor are requested.
National Park ranger Adam Vasey says: “This year at Nutcombe Bottom we’ve got den building, slack lining with Channel Ventures, wild food talks and much more. You can also visit England’s tallest tree or have a go on the adventure playground.
“We’ll be joined by people from the Crown Estate and the Forestry Commission who be talking about forestry practises and woodland management at Nutcombe Bottom - there’s no need to book for this event and everyone is welcome to come along.”
Car parking and toilet facilities are available on site; please wear outdoor clothing and suitable footwear.
