FIRE: A van has been damaged following an accidental fire at Asda in Taunton
A VAN has been destroyed following an accidental fire at a car park in Taunton.
One fire engine from the town was sent to reports of a vehicle on fire at Asda on Creechbarrow Road at 7.28pm.
On arrival, crews confirmed that this was a van on fire, well alight.
Crews used two breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
The van sustained 50 per cent fire damage and the remainder by heat and smoke.
The cause was believed to be accidental.
