CYCLE: The group
SEVEN youngsters from St Peter’s Church of England First School in Williton took part in a sponsored bike ride.
The challenge took place on May 27 where the children cycled three miles around the school playground.
The group raised a total of £186 for the MIND Charity.
Students were inspired by the story of local cyclist Darren Kneeshaw who recently cycled from John O’Groats to Lands’ End.
Mrs Pickering and Mrs Brooks helped Happy Stars group to plan and organise the event.
The whole school thanked the children and Darren in a special assembly later the same day.
