MORE than 100 primary school children enjoyed a day of fun activities at Richard Huish College.

The youngsters, in year six, attended the event on July 15, and got into painting a David Hockney giant mosaic and editing their own music videos.

Home-crafted rockets were launched across the Huish sports field and pupils experienced a taster of German and Spanish lessons.

All the children came together at the end of the day to give a special group performance of the song they had learnt in the music workshop.

This was attended by Huish staff, including the Taunton Tigers Basketball team mascot.

The pupils who attended were from North Curry CE Primary School, West Buckland Primary School, Parkfield Primary School, Lyndford Park Primary School and Wellsprings Primary School.
