ROCK on the Green was born in 1990 as an idea to raise funds for local causes and charities that needed a little help.

Now, twenty five years later, the event is not only a great music filled day, but it has also raised close to an amazing £100,000 for local good causes.

Rock on the Green is often called the greatest little rock festival in town. It is held on St Andrews Green in the grounds of St. Andrew's Men's Club, just north of Taunton railway station.

Whether the weather is rain or sun, hot or cold, you can be guaranteed the organisers have just one aim - to offer the best in music, entertainment and fun as they raise those all important, much needed pennies.

This year's line up includes some top bands including, Pygmy Chimps, Hundred Faces, The Fens and Crowdawn.

So if you are looking for a fun family afternoon and evening out with good local live bands and many other attractions like face painters, stalls, drinks bar and much, much more then head to this little gem of an event.
